So many options!

Here's how the gals have interpreted this week's challenge:

SOS #189: The Big Screen

It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge. This week's title is The Big Screen, and we'd like you to make something inspired by a movie. Please make sure to tell us which movie you used as your inspiration.

Here's how the gals have interpreted the this week's theme:

Deena
hooked on this phrase from "Bad Teacher"
If, this series of movies, you do not know, a rock, you must be living under.

Donna
I went with Wizard of Oz using papers that Chris gave me
I chose "The Great Gatsby"
Jessi
I chose Cinderella, because of this ancient sheet of stickers in my stash!
Leslie
Inspired by Pride & Prejudice
Lauren
Inspired by "Amelie"
Alica
Inspired by Christmas Cottage
Barbara
The image is "the time of my life" so my movie is Dirty Dancing

Now it's YOUR turn. Give some thought to your favorite movie, or use something from your stash to inspire you :), make something, then come back here to link up below so we can see what you've made.

SOS #188: TP or Not TP

It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge. This week's title of TP or Not TP should give you a hint of what we're up to. :) Yes, we're talking about toilet paper!  Did you ever look closely at the pattern on your TP or paper towels? Some of them are very nice. So this week we ask you to do one of the following three things:
  • Be inspired by the pattern on your toilet paper or paper towels
    - OR-
  • Use toilet paper or paper toweling as a tool to make your project
    - OR -
  • Use toilet paper or paper toweling ON your project
and please make sure to tell us what you did, as it's not always obvious to us!

Here is how the gals have interpreted this challenge:

created with Paper Towel paper.

Leslie
I stamped on a piece of TP, cut it out, and glued it to my card.
Jessi
I inked & embossed TP for the corners, and did TP casting to make the heart
Lauren
I used the quilty pattern on my plain white paper towels (seen behind my card!) as inspiration for a textural background made of punched and sewn cardstock border strips.
Deena
used real toilet paper and a fake roll
Alica
adhered TP to a piece of card stock and then embossed it with inked folder
Barbara
I tried to replicate the pattern on the TP by scoring every 1/8th inch and embossing it with the mosaic embossing folder.

I added blending solution to a paper towel and quickly blotted it on the dress. The paper towel pattern left behind a cool denim look.

Now it's YOUR turn! Go take a gander at your TP or paper towels and pay attention to the pattern, or otherwise use TP or paper toweling to make your project. Then come back here and link us up below so we can stop by and see what you've made!

The link-up will be open until Monday, February 16th, at 11:55 pm EST. Please limit your total number of challenges to 13, including ours.

SOS #187: Gettin' Inky

Happy Tuesday! This week's challenge is to get inky, and we'd like you to use your oldest ink.

Here's what the gals have done for the challenge:

Jessi
I used my ancient but still super juicy PSX Bubble Gum ink
Leslie
I used an ancient yet still juicy Encore Ultimate Metallic ink
Alica
my oldest (still alive ) inks are little SU ink spots from years back when these colors where the In-Colors
Lauren
oldest ink is embossing ink
Donna
I used my very oldest (and nearly dry) Memento Tuxedo Black ink
My oldest ink is 14 years old: Versamark Old Rose and Versamark Gold

My oldest inks are Memento Tuxedo Black and Lady Bug
(the ONLY re-inker I have is for the Tuxedo Black!)

Deena
I used some goopy white ink pad from our Office Depot from about 16 years ago....still works and is still super goopy....takes forever to get off your stamps too.

Now it's YOUR turn! Go dig out some old ink (the older the better), use it, then come back and link us up below so we can stop by and see what you've made.

The link-up will be open until Monday, February 9th, at 11:55 pm EST. Please limit your challenges to 13, including ours.
