Congratulations, ladies! Feel free to grab our Top 3 badge from the side bar.
There's still time to play our current challenge: Don't Get Stressed, Get De-Stressed. The link-up will be open until Monday, July 27th, at 11:55 pm EDT.
It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge. The idea for this week's theme came from a video that my pal Sandy Allnock made for OWH for April Fool's Day:
Yeah, the accent is a little corny, but the video is short, cute, and worth the watch.
So this week we'd like you to make a project that shows us how you relax. Beach? Wine? Smoking a pork butt? Running a marathon? It takes all types.
One disclaimer: I'm pretty certain just making cards is very relaxing and therapeutic for most of us, so "making a card" doesn't count. Nope. Then we'd end up with a link party, and that's not what we're about here. You actually need to include the "what makes me relax" as part of your project.
Here's how the ladies have interpreted this week's challenge:
Now it's YOUR turn. Put on your thinking cap and dig through your stash and come up with something that depicts how you relax. Make something, then come back and link us up below so we can stop by and see what you've made.
The link-up will be open until Monday, July 27, at 11:55 pm EDT. Please limit your total number of challenges to 13, including ours.
It's Tuesday, and time for new challenge. This week's theme is Paper Piecing - pretty self-explanatory. This is a perfect use for the small remnants you've been saving with your 6x6 paper pads.
Here's how the ladies have interpreted this week's challenge:
Now it's YOUR turn. Go into your stash and pull out an image that screams to be paper pieced, then come back here and link us up below so we can see what you've made.
The link-up will be open until Monday, July 20th, at 11:55 pm EDT. Please limit your total number of challenges to 13, including ours.
It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge. This week's theme is Gingham Style, and we'd like you to use ... gingham. Well, actually anything with squares or checks will do. :)
Here's how the ladies have interpreted the challenge:
Now it's YOUR turn. Go into your stash and pick out some gingham or squares or checks, make something, then come back and link us up below so we can stop by and see what you've made.
The link-up will be open until Monday, July 13th, at 11:55 pm EDT. Please limit your total number of challenges to 13, including ours.
It's Tuesday, and time for a new challenge. This week's theme is Baubles, Buttons & Bows, and we'd like you to use at least one bauble, button, or bow on your project.
To clarify: a bauble is not bling, so enamel dots, etc., won't count. A bauble is something you have in your stash that at some point you thought would look good on a card, like that antique pin you picked up at a yard sale, and you have them stored in a box in the back of your craft closet. Well, at least that's where mine are. *ahem*
Buttons and bows should be self-explanatory.
If you have any questions, either leave a comment, or just skip the whole bauble thing and go with buttons & bows. :)
