Card Making Day and Saturday Shout Out

             Happy World Card Making Day!

Isnt't this a perfect card for the occassion?   Deena made this.  I am sure if you pop by her blog this weekend you will see that and no tellings what else she will be creating!

I hope you get to spend some time crafting no matter where you are!  The day sorta snuck up on me, for some reason I had it my head it was  a couple of weeks away!
I know there are several online and probably local stores having sales! I am trying to resist.  I  am setting some a couple of goals  for myself this weekend:

1. Finish all my swaps ( I have two sets of cards to make) and one set of card kits to  make plus three other kits for swaps I am in.

and

2.  Participate in  two other challenges!

How about you?  Do you have any  crafting goals or plans?  If so, comment and tell us what you are doing this weekend!  I will draw one random comment to win a $10 US gift certificate to an online store of your choice!  I will take comments thru Midnight Sunday CST with winner to be announced on Tuesday with the next challenge.

And, our Saturday Shout Out this week- for the No Coloring Challenge-Our Top Three  in no particular order:  (yeah I know there are four...four is good!)

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to join our current challenge- Black and White Plus One!

World Card Making Day snuck up on me too. I was going to grade some papers, but I think I'm going to make some cards for OWH instead.

I'm getting a box of cards together to send to OWH and then I'll be working on some mixed-media projects for a craft fair. If I have time I'd like to squeeze in a card challenge or two but it's unlikely due to family obligations.

I'm hoping to get at least one card finished today along with 12 birthday party invitations. I also need to make thank you cards, water bottle labels, party hats and food labels. Plus some food shopping, clothes shopping and going to the zoo.

I have several swaps to work on but not coming up with anything yet I like to submit. That will be on he top today. Then I plan to do (hopefully) a challenge or two. Should be thinking about making Halloween cards.

I had no idea it was World Cardmaking Day! I'm so happy I had planned to spend the day in my craft room. I suppose my first goal this weekend is to actually get there! LOL. I've struggled with motivation lately, so it will be really important if I follow through. Once there, I have a set of birthday cards to make, so I'm hoping to make five of those, including a couple of challenges. Oh yeah, and update my blog. It's been sorely neglected!! - Heather B

I'd like to finish a card I was working on, make a Halloween card or two and maybe a starter for my Christmas cards.

I have an hour and a half left to get on the card train with the rest of the world- guess I should do that LOL

I'm making winged keys for our Harry Potter mobile/display/recent obsession this weekend. ;)

it totally snuck up on me too. However I ended up making a total of 8 cards & an envelope, so I think I've done all right. 7 cards are for a card exchange and the 8th & the envelope are for a wedding we're at next weekend (and the card qualifies for this week's challenge to boot. WOO!)

My goal for this weekend is to finish 2 kits for swaps and have ready to mail tomorrow. I've got one almost finished and thought I needed a computer break so I read this page and thought I would enter.
